在山東，有這樣一種工藝品，它曾經是人人都要用的生活必需品，上至達官貴人的錦衣玉袍，下到平民百姓的鞋襪衣帽，都有它的身影。這就是魯繡，它是山東地區的代表性刺繡，源于春秋戰國時期，至今已有2000余年的歷史。

In Shandong, there is such a handicraft, which was once a necessity for everyone, ranging from the nobleman"s brocade clothes to the ordinary people"s shoes, socks, clothes and hats.This is Lu Embroidery, which is a representative embroidery of Shandong, originating from the Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period, and has a history of more than 2000 years.

魯繡作品擅長表現中國書畫的筆墨效果，繡品清雋淡雅、質感逼真、風格粗獷中見精微。2021年5月，魯繡被列入第五批國家級非物質文化遺產名錄。

Lu Embroidery works are especially good at delivering the brush-and-ink effects of Chinese painting and calligraphy.The embroideries are clear and elegant, with realistic texture forming a subtlety in a contrasting rough style.In May 2021, Lu Embroidery was selected into the fifth batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.

魯繡最有代表性的一個品種是濟南發絲繡，由人發與絲線結合施繡。最早的發絲繡傳世珍品是南宋的《東方朔像》，該作品長一市尺，寬八寸，現藏于英國倫敦博物館。繡品風格樸中寓秀，充分展現了山東地區爽朗、豪放、樸實的人文風情。

One of the most representative varieties of Lu Embroidery is Jinan hair-silk embroidery, which is embroidered by combining human hair and silk thread.The earliest hair-silk embroidery is the Southern Song Dynasty"s “Portrait of Dongfang Shuo,“ which is about 33 cmlong and 20 cmwide, currently keptin the Museum of London.The style of the embroidery is simple but elegant, fully demonstrating the bright, bold and simple humanistic style of Shandong.

隨著工業化的發展，魯繡工藝不斷創新，機繡也逐漸由單頭縫紉機發展到電動縫紉機、電腦繡花機，工效成倍增加。現代電腦技術的參與，使傳統魯繡這棵千年古樹長出粗壯的新枝。有時代氣息的魯繡產品也不斷被研發出來，涵蓋床上用品、抽紗、服飾等門類，暢銷海內外。相關非遺企業們還會通過線上直播平臺以及線下旅游團體、研學團體接待，全方位促進引流銷售。
